By making use of D'Alembert's principle,the dynamic character of single degree of freedom systems with multi-rigid-body and multiparticle is analysed.A formula for calculating the frequency of the systems is deduced,which is identical to that of systems with a particle.It can be suitable for single degree of freedom systems at all kinds of status.It only needs to calculate the equivalent stiffness and the equivalent mass of the system.
